Ok, so maybe not the kind of Espresso you'd have in the morning, but certainly one to be enjoyed over ice in the evening! My neighbour introduced this delightful drink imported from Holland to me last night. I think we'll be enjoying a glass or two together again soon.
More presentations on Friday morning and a big hug from my boss Dan. It's been an emotional week for me. Lots of laughs, hugs and tears. Change is good, but it's hard to leave behind the great people you shared so much time with.
Here's a photo of my boss Dan. He is such a delight to work for. We have so much fun together! I'm really going to miss him next year! Thanks for everything Dan! You're the best!
Here's a great photo of two beautifully photogenic young ladies, my friend Hayley with our friend Carrie's adorable little baby girl. Isn't she just the cutest?!! Just look at those eyes!
The new Stampin Up! Cattie. This is what it looks like before I flag all the pages that I want to add to my wish list. Stay tuned for what that will look like lol
My livingroom was transformed into one giant bed for Emily's sleep over birthday party. Wonder where they got the idea to string toilet paper up??? Would you believe they ALL slept until 10 am!!!! How lucky am I?!
Grandma loves to knit. When I was in labour, she knitted 7 little hats waiting for the news of whether she was going to have a new little girl or boy grandchild lol
Emily painted this charming little frog and I got to name him. I love his one little red dimple lol. He sits on my kitchen counter and is always ready to help me do the dishes.
Taken on the weekend, but posting for Monday as this image is on my desktop now and it's where I want to be. Life is crazy busy right now and I long for the days when I will be able to sit in this park barefoot and feel the cool grass between my toes.
No more bunk bed! Both Emily and I had a great time shopping and redesigning her new room. This daybed is perfect for her to have her girlfriends come over and visit. It's just like a sofa during the day and turns into a comfy, cozy bed at night.
We went shopping for Emily's new bed on the weekend and on Tuesday, we needed to head back to IKEA to pick up a couple more items to finish her room. Here's a photo of Emily and her friend being silly and burying themselves in the IKEA bags.
Friday nights have become a regular online "scrap and chat" for me and some of my Scrapaholic buddies. This is a layout I started on Friday night and finished on Saturday. Emily took the photo of herself and I knew I had to scrap it the minute I saw it!
I collect Christmas tree ornaments and every year when we decorate our tree, I remember all the special friends and family who have given me ornaments to dawn on our tree and where they acquired it. Mom and Dad brought me this cute little ornament back from their Alaskan cruise last week.
All my photos have been taken with my little Canon Power Shot SD1000. I sometimes use Picasa to crop and edit them or tweek them just a bit. My layouts for Project 365 can be found on my Primary Blog. The link is just above if you'd like to check it out. Thanks for stopping by!
Welcome to my Blog! I am a scrapbooker, photographer, memory keeper and mother and have recently discovered the joys of art journaling and typography. I adore playing with paper and texture and love sharing my passion with all my wonderful friends that I've met through these wonderful hobbies.
This is my little space on the web where I share my creations and photos with family and friends. Thanks for stopping by to visit and enjoy living your creative life.
The Theme list for 2009 is listed below. I will bold and green each theme I capture. I am also using some of the ideas on the Creating Keepsakes website that are suggested here. My goal with this project is to create an album that captures everyday events and moments in my life with my family and friends. I am using the Weeds and WildflowersLife 365 kit for my digital layouts and will be posting them on my ScrapperKat blog. Thanks for visiting!
