December 26th Photo - Boxing Day

Christmas lasted three days for us. Christmas Eve at my sister-in-laws, Christmas dinner at the In-laws and Boxing Day at our place with my folks. We're very lucky as our whole family spent this special time of year together.

December 21st Photo - O' Christmas Tree

I used my highest ISO setting on my little point and shoot (1600) to try to capture the glow of our Christmas tree. I love the way it lights up our livingroom!

December 19th Photo

My family and I picked up some old movies for the weekend and Emily picked out Apollo 13. She is crazy about Tom Hanks and thinks he is the best actor ever. I really enjoyed the movie. It was full of suspense and the fact that it is a true story, it made it even more entertaining. Definitely worth watching!

December 15th Photo

A while back, my friend Carrie published this great post on her blog, Pay it Forward. If you happened to be the first few lucky people to respond she would create something special for us. I was one of the lucky ones to respond and this is what she made for me. Isn't it beautiful?! I have it hanging in my kitchen window. I just love it! The deal was that if you responded, you had to post it on your blog as well. I did and will be making two gifts for two of my friends. Thanks Carrie! I love my paper wreath!

The Scrapaholics had their annual Crop-a-mas today. It was great fun! As organizers, the group got us all Olympic mittens. What a great idea! Thanks Jadranka for picking these out for us! I love mine! We had a fun photo shoot posing with our new gifts!
