September 26th Photo - My First Class

Today I went to Sue's Full Throttle Crop to help raise money for her son's automotive class. It was a lot of fun. I taught my first Stampin Up! class and really had a great time! I really enjoyed being in front of a class and teaching people fun new ways to create beautiful cards for friends and family.

Might be a little hard to see in this photo but Emily injured her finger while playing on the slide. Her poor wee little fingers were swollen and bruised.

September 18th Photo - Goodie Bags

My friend Hayley and I, with the help of super trooper friend Carrie, put together 225 goodie bags for the Crop for Kids event coming in late October. This is such a worthwhile fundraiser, raising 10s of thousands of dollars for BC Childrens Hospital. This photo is only of some of the bags. By the time I had to leave, at 1:30 am, the tags still needed to be put on. Hayley finished them up the next day. Thanks Hayley!

I love the look on Emily's face in this photo. You can just tell she feels very special to be holding such a newborn baby. I heard recently that this is one experience every child should have. Now I see why.

September 14th Photo - New Baby Girl

When I arrived home from work today our neighbour had just brought home her new baby girl Zoe. She's only one day old here. It was such a treat to see her! She's such a beautiful little baby! Congratulations Tanya and Craig!

Today was our Scrapbooking Group's 3rd anniversary get together and my friend Sue and I drove together. When I dropped her off at home, I took a photo of her and her beautiful dog Daisy. She sure has grown since the last time I saw her! We had a great time at the crop! Lots of door prizes, goodie bags and yummy food!
