When I got home from work today my new Elzybells stamps arrived. I was looking through Elizabeth's blog and all the adorable stamps over at Elzybells and just had to have this cute little mug of hot cocoa with the heart and marshmallows! Isn't it just the cutest?! This was the first time I'd ordered anything from the United Kingdom and the delivery was super fast! Elizabeth had my stamps here within a week and even included a cute little package of candy!

January 19th Photo - Webkinz Collection (Fads)

Today's photo is of Emily's Webkinz collection. Each of these little guys have their own virtual world on Webkinz where you earn Kinz Cash by playing games so that you can design their homes, buy them food, and entertain them. They became really popular with our younger generation about two years ago and are still hotter than ever!

On Sunday we had our Scrapaholics Crop and Jo and Izzy taught us how to make an adorable little acrylic album. They really worked hard at designing and putting together all the kits for us. These mini little mandarin oranges are so deliciously sweet! They are only about the size of a golf ball, some even smaller. They're so cute too! I liked how they looked in our wooden bowl.

January 13th Photo - Scrapaholics Fundraiser

I've taken on the volunteer job of Treasurer over at Scrapaholics. One of our goals is to try and raise $1000 for BC Children's Hospital and present a cheque at the Annual Crop 4 Kids in October this year. So far we have raised $111.11 and have lots of ideas planned on how we plan to raise more. I had to come up with a way to post our running total and so I've decided to use this photo as my Photo of the Day. Consider it a digiphoto, that counts right? lol

January 12th - Marshmellow Kabobs (Childhood Favourite)

Emily has been dying to make these for a while now and so the other day we went grocery shopping and picked up the necessary ingredients: marshmellows, chocolate chips, sprinkles, coconut and skewers. She made them tonight with her dad and they turned out just great! I didn't even have one bite! How's that for will power?! lol

January 11th - You Have Got to be Kidding! (Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign)

Ok, so we all know gas prices have been rising, but honestly isn't this a bit much? LOL I wonder if they will have noticed their mistake by the time I drive by their sign again tomorrow!

January 10th - Time for a Change (Hair)

Today Emily and I went to the hair salon. I am no longer a blonde and Emily now has short hair! I think this is the darkest I've ever had my hair! Guess y'all will have to wait to see us in person...

January 9th Photo - Back to the Gym (Exercise)

I don't like making New Year's resolutions. Instead I prefer to set goals for myself throughout the year. On January 5th I decided I am going to get back in shape and get back to the gym. So this week I started back on the 7th and went again on the 9th. My goal is to go 3 times a week minimum and if my weekends aren't too full I'm going to try to squeeze another one in then too. My photo for today is my sneakers. We got reaquainted this week and will be spending a lot of time together.

January 8th Photo - My Favourite 2009 Calendar (Hangs on a Wall)

I have some great new calendars this year but this one is my favourite. It was made by my up and coming little swapper. Emily created this one all by hand and even included all the moon phases with the monthly holidays. I helped her bind it together with my coil binding machine and now have it hanging in our kitchen.
