This beautiful chest belongs to my inlaws. It use to belong to my father-in-law's parents. His mother use to hide the children's Christmas presents in it back in Sweden. It's a real treasure!

I seem to keep adding things to my keychain. Hubby keeps reminding me it's not good for the ignition though. Today a friend gave me these great little tokens for the buggies at the Safeway and other Grocery stores. There's one for a Loonie and a quarter. I'm forever without change so this is going to be great!

April 22nd Photo - Feeling Appreciated
What a wonderful day I had today and how lucky am I to have two fabulous bosses! Today was Administrative Assistant Day and my boss decided to enter my name in a local radio station's contest. Much to my surprise two crew members from QMFM arrived in my office today with cameras and some fabulous goodies! I received a $100 gift certificate to the sophisticated waterfront restaurant Lift, a luxurious facial at Trinity Spa, a blow dry and set at the funky salon Blo and a yummy assorted box of delicious cookies from Cookies By George. As if that wasn't enough, my boss also presented me with a beautiful lavender shawl and some gorgeous flowers! It was a great day! I'm so very lucky to work for such supportive and generous bosses! Thank you again!

Well, how surprised do you think I was when this little fellow ended up on my desk at work this morning?! Isn't he adorable! Sadly, some irresponsible pet owner abandoned him shortly after Easter in a park and now he's been rescued and is looking for a new home. I think he may have found one too. How could you resist really?! He's just too darn cute! And, no it is NOT me! lol

April 20th Photo - The Impressive Magnolia Tree
The Magnolia. These blooms are so very impressive! Thanks Sue and everyone else for informing me of the correct name of this magnificent tree. It's flowers are so very beautiful and particularly large! My photo for today is a close up of one in full bloom and in much better light than my first photo of one I took some time last week. I had to pull over on my way to the grocery store tonight to shoot these photos as I just couldn't pass them by without sharing their beauty with all of you. Aren't they just something else?!

Sunday was our Scrapaholics monthly crop. Here's a few of the ladies I was scrapping with. We had a great time and most everyone made it to my place despite the Sun Run which closed off a good portion of the roads near where I live for the better part of the morning.

April 17th Photo - Go Canucks Go! (Flags and Banners)
Our city is a buzz with cheering Canuck fans! Last night they played against St. Louis and won 3 zip! Banners and flags are flying everywhere, cars sport their Canuck gear and it's a sea of Canuck jersies out there! The playoffs are on and we're hopeful our team will take home the cup. Our neighbour, clearly a big fan, proudly displays his support over his balcony in this Photo of the Day.

Apr 13th Photo
I uploaded my photos in the wrong order lol. This is the photo I took on Monday, April 13th of an unusual tree I came across with the largest blooms I've ever seen. There were no leaves, just big 'ole flowers the size of volleyballs! I'd love to learn the name of it if anyone knows.

April 11th Photo - Digital Layout (Times Gone By)
I just completed mom and dad's heritage album and this photo of the two of them is one of my favourites! Dad is literally lifting mom out of her shoes as he kisses her! I decided to do up a quick digital layout to share it with you. I used Digilovers Addiction Spring Fever kit to pull it together.
