April 20th Photo - The Impressive Magnolia Tree
The Magnolia. These blooms are so very impressive! Thanks Sue and everyone else for informing me of the correct name of this magnificent tree. It's flowers are so very beautiful and particularly large! My photo for today is a close up of one in full bloom and in much better light than my first photo of one I took some time last week. I had to pull over on my way to the grocery store tonight to shoot these photos as I just couldn't pass them by without sharing their beauty with all of you. Aren't they just something else?!

ReplyDeletewow, that is a gorgeous tree!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have shown these magnolias in all their glory.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen pink magnolias! The ones my mom has are white and they smell like lemon Pledge.
ReplyDeleteI do love these trees! They are one of the first to bloom in our area. Some people here call them the tulip tree, too.
ReplyDeleteThese magnolias are wonderful! I love the second shot with the Victorian looking home in the background. Ansel Adams, move over!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the blooms, really beautiful images of such ephemeral flowers.
ReplyDeleteStunning! Love all the shots!
