Apr 13th Photo

I uploaded my photos in the wrong order lol. This is the photo I took on Monday, April 13th of an unusual tree I came across with the largest blooms I've ever seen. There were no leaves, just big 'ole flowers the size of volleyballs! I'd love to learn the name of it if anyone knows.

  1. What pretty flowers! I'll be interested to learn what kind of tree this is, too.

  4. Some variety of Magnolia is my guess. Very pretty pinks against that somber sky.

  5. A magnolia kathy. Come by the house and see ours on your way home from work tomorrow..it's just getting open fully...a week late for Easter of course..LOL. Mine is white. I think they are called Saucer Magnolias (unofficial name I would presume LOL)
